An advantage of using a sales funnel is that they help filter out people who are not interested in what your company has to offer, while focusing efforts on potential clients that build long-term relationships with your company.

  • Distributing your company’s newsletter

Social media plays an important role in terms of creating strong word-of-mouth about the business. By using numerous social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, you are able to target your business to millions of people in a matter of seconds.

Proper social media usage should be a major focus of your sales funnel strategy to bring in new prospects.

Here’s what I do:

I post daily on social media. By providing relevant articles pertaining to my industry, I am showing my followers my passion as well as my dedication to the industry.  By posting 2-3 times a day, I am creating a bond with this follower, which makes them feel like they know me as an individual.

To take this one step further, I provide them with free marketing content to determine if the potential customer likes my services.  By providing the public with free content, they are seeing a snippet of what my services can do for them. If they like the content, this will lead to the trust factor. The trust will lead to prospects and, in turn, new business!
